BusinessWeek in Jan 0, 2006 edition noted that this year there will be a lot of New Number One Companies. Here are a few:
- Pepsi will beat out Coke in stock market cap for the first time
- SBC will beat out Verizon
- WAMCO will beat out PIMCO
- AMGEN will beat out GENENTECH
I think it will be interesting to see what players in the tech industry beat out other players. Some analysts predict that Google will overtake MSN and Yahoo this year on total visitors. Good luck, and may the best search engine win.
