Michael Eagar – Leadership
I am an active student of leadership. I feel fortunate to have learned from some great leaders in my life. Leaders create change, are not afraid to make mistakes, and provide vision for others.
Everyone can become a leader. Everyone has the potential to rise above their situations to create something better. Almost every day I am amazed at people and their stories of triumph when things were difficult for them. Is there a secret to accomplishing great things… I do not know if there is any one secret, but will-power and fortitude come to my mind.
Often stories of triumph can be personal. They may be decisions that we make that only we are aware of. Great leaders are made from making great decision after great decision. Behind every great leader is a legacy of great decisions that strengthen will-power and fortitude.
Really like your blog, and welcome to orange soda. I can see how startup companies can seem to waste a lot of money waiting for perfection. They just need to get the product out there!

Luke Thanks. I got it fixed now.
I agree. There are many “Business People” that don’t know their market. Yet these people spend exorbitant amounts of time, and sometimes capital, developing the service/product.
It is so important to clearly define your customer and then sit down and talk with them face to face. You would be surprised how much there is to learn about a product/service through a customer. Things you have never even thought of will surface. This is very valuable information.
Place your business idea on the scale. Find “Your Position on the Market Knowledge”. You will gain confidence in the ability of your business to succeed or be rethought.
Good to see you blogging more. See you at UVEF

Advice: Avoid Wells Fargo merchant services like the plague. Worst banking experience I have ever had in my life.
Mal’s e-commerce is another excellent method to use if you already have brick and mortar methods of taking credit cards.
I have been surfing the net for sometime now, looking for opportunities to be an internet entrepreneur, even setup my own site for advertisement and affiliate programs. It is really difficult to start on my own. So nice of you to teach other people.
Check out the YES movie at http://www.TheYESmovie.com from Louis Lautman. Interesting success stories from young entrepreneurs.
Interesting movie. It seems to have a lot of the accumulation of things aspects of the thrill of being an entrepreneur. For some that is motivating (I guess). For me, I am motivated from the opportunity to create value. Entrepreneurship for me allows me to do that.
So how soon are you going?
