This week I joined a new company that has some exciting growth, Gifts That Lift, out of Lehi, UT. Their founder/CEO Wendy Bird has become pretty well known recently in the Utah business community because of the awards and recognition they have received including the 2006 top 25 under 5 from UVEF.
Most people know Gifts that Lift as My Princess Pearls. The company started making pearls and now sells many hand crafted products that women make in Thailand and the Philippines. My Princess Pearls has a non-profit arm, Pearls with a Purpose foundation and regularly sends humanitarian aid in the form of food, clothing, and educational supplies to several schools and villages in these areas.
